MRI 250 - MRI Physics & Instrumentation

This course introduces the student to the principles of nuclear magnetic resonance and the equipment used to produce the MR image. Emphasis is placed on understanding the relationships between the various imaging sequences/parameters and how their selection affects diagnostic quality. MR safety considerations and quality assurance techniques are also presented.
No pre-requisite required for this course.
