Upon successful completion of this course, the student shall be able to: A. Use basic algebraic concepts and formulas to solve quantitative business problems. B. Utilize these advanced math skills to solve complex business problems (marketing, financial, management, retail, human resources). C. Solve typical banking services' math-based procedures, e.g. compounding interest, projecting annuities and sinking funds as well as monitoring consumer credit accounts. D. Use statistical tools and techniques to analyze common business problems and also maintain high quality control standards. E. Utilize graphic presentations of statistical information to convey information to business and lay audiences. F. Identify common misuses of statistics. G. Computing basic measures of central tendencies. H. Computing variance and standard deviation.
