BIO111 - Environmental Biology Laboratory
This laboratory course, meant to be taken concurrently with BIO110, examines ecological principles in relation to environmental problems, allowing students to gain an awareness of their surroundings. Biotic and abiotic components of ecosystems are examined, as are various types of air, water and soil pollutants. Procedures and techniques used in the study of environmental issues are introduced, as are biological basics such as experimental design and problem solving.
