BA 160 - Business Math I
Upon successful completion of this course, the student shall be able to: A. Perform basic arithmetic functions quickly and accurately. B. Calculate percentages, ratios, and fractions. C. Calculate insurance premiums. (Life, car, property) D. Compute various sorts of trade discounts and commission earnings. E. Compute simple and compound interest. F. Determine payment and amortization schedules for various loans. G. Calculate stock dividends and bond interest. H. Analyze and solve case-like problems decscribing real business situations. I. Compute basic statistical values. (Mean, mediun, mode and range)
A minimum score of 32 on COMPASS pre-algebra test or a minimum score of 22 on ACT math.
