Upon successful completion of this course, the student shall be able to: A. Implement knowledge of various insurance carrier submission requirements such as Medicare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicaid. B. Understand the complexities of abstracting information from source documents. C. Apply information to produce a clean, accurate claim. D. Perform Basic CPT-4 and ICD-10 Coding. E. Understand managed health care. F. Effectively appeal insurance claims and communicate with both patient and carrier. Required Materials:
