BUSN 270 - Introduction to International Business
This course provides an overview and a basic understanding of current world activities, practices, and governmental aids and barriers to international trade. Exploration of various economic, geographic, political, and cultural differences affecting international trade.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student shall be able to: A. Compare and contrast the effects of international trade barriers. B. Compare and contrast cultural, economic, and political factors influencing international trade of selected countries. C. Contrast the role of labor, intellectual property, foreign direct investment, and trade policies of the United States with that of other countries. D. Compare and contrast domestic and global risks of conducting business. E. Contrast the role of imports in developed and developing countries.
