ENG 250 - Film as Literature
Upon successful completion of this course, the student shall be able to: A. Analyze, evaluate, interpret and respond in writing and discussion to films as literature. B. Recognize social and cultural concerns in film. C. Identify films in terms of literary genres. D. Demonstrate a knowledge of the process of adapting a written work for the screen.

Prerequisite: ENG 101 "C" or better. ENG 250 is a study of formal, thematic, and/or historical relationships between literary and cinematic forms, including examination of adaptations and influences that demonstrate the strengths of each artistic medium.
