BUS155 - Business Communication
Business Communication focuses on helping students develop, improve, and practice their communications skills. All forms of communications are discussed-verbal, nonverbal, written, listening, body language, formal and informal communications. A variety of issues, scenarios, and activities are addressed, giving students practical knowledge and tools to improve their communication in personal and professional arenas. Routine, positive, negative, and persuasive messages; reports, proposals, meetings, and presentations; emails and podcasts; employment documents, document formatting, punctuation, grammar, proofreading, and editing business documents are also discussed. (1.2-Articulated) NOTE: This course requires intermediate reading, intermediate writing, and intermediate math. Online courses require advanced reading and advanced writing.
