NMT 272 - Advanced Nuclear Medicine Procedures & Techniques

This 12-week summer course looks at recent trends, research, and technological advances in nuclear medicine. It covers selected in-vitro and non-imagining in-vivo procedures with emphasis on radioassay techniques. The course also examines image production and data acquisition methods associated with positron emission tomography (PET). Use of radionuclides in therapy will also be addressed.
Successful completion of NMT 262 or consent of instructor
