There are numerous self-scoring practice exams available among the course resources to help students prepare for the scored exam. In addition, students may take one repeat examination over the same content. The highest score earned will be recorded. The exams are multiple-choice format and are both computational and conceptual.
Students are required to work online homework problems.
It is best to begin the course when the semester starts and end when the semester ends. However, to accommodate students with special scheduling needs, students may begin work in the course at any time. Ending dates are flexible as well, though the amount of time allowed for completion of the course is limited to a period of 6 months (equivalent to one and one half semesters.)
