BE 248B - Desktop Publishing II
Use of current software to produce a variety of documents incorporating desktop publishing features and principles of layout and design.
Information Processing with a grade of "C" or better or Information Processing I, II, and III or instructor consent.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student shall be able to: A. Identify the uses and benefits of PDF, navigate PDF documents using bookmarks and links, search PDF documents, open and organize PDF documents, and access help. B. Use the PDF printer to create a PDF document from any p0rogram's Print command, use the PDF Maker to create a PDF document from Microsoft applications, and use the Create PDF commands to create documents from multiple files. C. Move PDF document pages within and between documents; modify PDF document text, add headers/footers, modify page numbering; move PDF. D. Add and modify bookmarks and links, and specify document initial view settings. E. Prepare a PDF document for review, use editing and markup tools to review a PDF document, organize and view comments from multiple reviewers, digitally sign a PDF document, and validate a digitally signed document.
